Madison is known in our family as the drama queen and the fire ball. She carries with her a lot of emotion. A while ago Madison got REALLY mad at Skyler for doing something. In response she yelled at him "I'm going to kill you!". The kids know that they are not allowed talk like this. I reminded Madison that her word choices were not acceptable and that she could not say such things. Ten minutes later Skyler again did something to annoy Madison. This time she responded in a more calm way and said: "Mom I really want Skyler to go to heaven". What could I say. She had out smarted the situation.

My sister made this cute "Time Out" chair. Madsion and Spencer just love it, as a matter of fact they fight over who is going to sit on it. Today Madsion got in to trouble because she wasn't playing nicely with Spencer. When she sensed that she was in trouble she ran to the chair and asked if she needed to sit on it. I was quite amazed. I don't know how long the novelty of the chair will last.

Do your children do this? We caught Madison bending our spoons. Her reason was: "Skyler did it too". His response was that he was showing her how strong he was. She in turn had to prove her strength too. We now have several crooked spoons that we have tried to straighten. (They were in a lot of trouble with their dad).

I asked Madison to play with her little brother today, she was not happy with the idea and said: "I don't want to play with Spencer, I want myself to play with me." What an original explanation. Later today after Madison had finished some coloring she came into the room where I was, and said: "Mom, is my tongue purple? Yes I said. She replied: I colored my tongue and it tasted yuckie." I guess she still has a few things to learn.
Spencer Scissors' Hand - 12/07
Spencer got a hold of some scissors and decided to try them out on his face. Yep! this would be the 2nd time he has cut himself. First it was his ear (about two months ago) and then this month when he opened up the scissors and sliced each cheek as he shut them. Scissors are no longer found in our house, unless of course you're the one that hid them.
A Winter day - 12/07
Having fun in the snow is so much better when you can do it with a sibling.
Our little Gent! - 2007
This just a totally random shot of Sky. He is our polite little gentleman. He loves getting doors for people and seems to remember his manners better then anyone else....including his father! he he he.
After effects of a long Thanksgiving weekend - 2007
Black eyes were not on the Thanksgiving day menu but Meg's 18 month old cousin decided she needed one on her plate! Served with a large plastic horse. Family, Can't live with 'em can't live without 'em!
